Esperance to Albany

I did a bit of op-shopping at the local Red Cross before setting off towards Albany. Our plan was to get as close to Albany as possible. The drive was absolutely stunning, with gorgeous country side, farms and National Parks- even a "Bio-sphere".

Then we were attacked and pelted by a 200km band of revolting locusts! They were the biggest ones I had ever seen. We decided to push onto Albany regardless of what time we got in as no-one wanted to sleep with giant mutant locusts that night.
Roadkill anyone?

We arrived in Albany around 5pm and quickly got some take away chook for tea, then found a place to sleep for the night.
